Cheryl L. Gustafson joined this firm in May 2003. Ms. Gustafson graduated
from California Western School of Law in May 2004 and was admitted to practice
law in California in December 2004. During law school, she was awarded the
Academic Achievement Award for the highest grade in all three of her legal
writing classes and mediation classes. She was also the recipient of the Dean s
scholarship while attending law school. While in law school, Ms. Gustafson served
as a law clerk for the United States Attorney's Office, Southern District of
California, Civil Division. Ms.Gustafson graduated with Honors from University San
Diego with a Bachelors of Arts degree in International Relationships and Spanish.
She has worked in the legal field since her undergraduate studies.
She practices in the areas of civil litigation handling various types of cases
including construction defect, insurance and contract disputes. She has assisted
in litigating two construction matters resulting in a verdict/settlements in excess of
$1,000,000.00 each. Ms. Gustafson is admitted to practice in California and the
Southern District of United States District Court in California.
Ms. Gustafson is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and
has served as a volunteer at Voices for Children, serving s a Court Appointed
Special Advocate for abused and neglected children.
